Pride Center Offers Extended Service Hours
In response to the growing demand for meeting space and referrals from the Pride Center of Western New York, we are pleased to announce extended hours beginning in March. The Pride Center will now befrom 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Free meeting space is also available on weekends, when the Pride Center will beon an as-needed basis.
“We understand that many people look to utilize the Center’s programs and services outside normal business hours,” Pride Center director Jim Ver Steeg said. “By extending the time we’re we hope to be even more accessible and helpful to the communities we serve.”
Members of the community are encouraged to contact the Pride Center during these extended service hours for referrals to health care resources, social and support groups, and other community organizations.
The Pride Center’s new hours were made possible by the generosity of more than a dozen volunteers who come in throughout the week to answer phones, greet visitors and assist with the day-to-day functions of the Pride Center.
