WNY SENATOR SPOUTS ANTI GAY RHETORIC
"One man, one woman... the right way, the only way. This is one bill
we can't leave Albany without."

Buffalo, New York, June 17, 2004 - - If you find this language
infuriating, you should. It effectively relegates LGBT individuals to
second-class citizenship and denies us the same civil rights as any
other New Yorker.
The Pride Center of Western New York rejects Mr. Maziarz’s opinion and
calls on all equality-minded citizens to voice their opposition.
We urge you to call Senator Maziarz and the other Western New York
co-sponsor of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), Senator Volker, to
express your opposition to the bill.
