Buffalo, NY, November 10, 2004 - - The Pride Center of Western New York,
serving our area’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT)
communities, will be celebrating its First Anniversary this evening with
a specialhouse reception.

“This is an important opportunity to show the community how far we’ve
come in just one year,” said Ver Steeg. To date, the Pride Center offers
important programs and services including: Coming Out support, health
and mental health referrals, rapid HIV testing, couples counseling,
legal referrals, legislative advocacy and much more.
